Learn About Us

Stokes Mosquito and Outdoor Pest Service is a full-service outdoor pest control company, specializing in mosquito control, fire ant control, exterior flea & tick treatment.

Mosquito and outdoor insect control is all we do. Our experienced team customizes each treatment to fit the needs of each client. Our standard mosquito spray is EPA-approved for safety, and all-natural treatment plans with no synthetic chemicals are available. With all of our treatment options, children and pets can safely return to playing in treated areas after 30 minutes. Every member of our staff is thoroughly trained in current procedures and chemical safety standards. We also have a SC-certified beekeeper on staff.

We are locally owned and operated, so you never have to worry about being connected to an out-of-area call center. We answer our own phones. And since we’re locally owned and operated, an owner is always available.

We are proud to deliver high-quality, effective services to every client, every time. We respect your time with efficient scheduling and treatment appointments, and we offer free re-treats if needed.

We serve the greater Savannah River region (CSRA), including Augusta, Evans, Martinez, Grovetown, North Augusta, Edgefield and Aiken. Owned and operated by a retired US Army veteran.

What We Do

Mosquito Control

There are more than 50 varieties of mosquitoes in Georgia and South Carolina, many of which impact the Aiken/Augusta area. Potential diseases carried by mosquitoes in South Carolina and Georgia include: West Nile virus, Zika Virus, Eastern Equine Encephalitis, La Crosse encephalitis, Saint Louis Encephalitis virus, Chikungunya virus, dog heartworm, and cat heartworm.

Flea and Tick Control

The warmer weather of spring and summer means the start of flea and tick season. With warmer winters the chance for increased numbers of insects is great, and the diseases they transmit – including Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, West Nile virus and Zika virus – are potential threats to you, your children, and your pets.

Fire Ant Control

Fire ants have become a big problem in the Southeast US and everywhere in the CSRA has become overrun with them. Treating individual mounds typically means the colony just moves to another location in the yard. Fire ants are not only dangerous to humans but to your pets as well. Often colonies are not visible as mounds and playing kids can quickly become covered without realizing it until it’s too late.
